These official Chemex Bonded Filters deliver the clean, crisp, full-flavored brew Chemex is known for. Made from specialty fiber, they are 20–30% thicker than standard filters to keep unwanted oils, bitter elements, and coffee grounds out of your cup.

Step 1:
Fold the Chemex filter in half, then fold again to form a quarter circle. Place your finger between the 3rd and 4th layers to open it into a cone shape.

Step 2:
Place the cone into the top of your Chemex coffeemaker with the three-layer side on the groove. The groove acts as an air vent and pouring spout, allowing proper airflow for even extraction.

Step 3:
Add your coffee grounds — use one heaping tablespoon per cup (adjust to taste). Follow your Chemex brewing instructions for the remaining steps.
